A hotel lover’s confession.
My name is Robert and I am a hotel-o-holic. After years of living abroad I’ve now returned to my homeland Sweden. I’m currently living in Stockholm, with my husband and constant travel partner, Magnus. We really, really appreciate staying at cool, unique, interesting hotels. One could almost say it has turned into a (rather expensive) hobby. And what I like even more is to share my favorites with other hotel lovers out there.
I remember when I stayed at my first design hotel. It was Hotel Julien in Antwerp, Belgium in 2008. That stay awoke my love and passion for hotels that does more for me as a customer than only provide me with a bed to sleep in. Since then we have had the opportunity to experience many fantastic hotels and as a result I have often been asked by friends and colleagues for recommendations. That led to me starting an Insta account to share my hotel experiences (this idea was actually hatched when staying at one of my favorite hotels, Masseria Moroseta in Puglia, Italy). After a couple of years I realized that the format didn’t provide enough space for me to write as much as I wanted to and I also wanted it to be easier to find places based on different search criteria. And this is why I started this blog. It is a blog for all of you hotel lovers out there that just like me appreciate staying at unique, wonderful hotels, just waiting to be discovered.
And by the way, I always stay at all the hotels I post here. All the photos are my own (or my husband’s or from friends who accompany us on our trips) and I always pay for my stay. I don’t do any sponsored posts, accept any endorsements/kick-backs or collaborate with any hotels. It is just me sharing hotels that I truly appreciate and that I hope you will too.
